Wells Fargo Lead Software Engineer (Fullstack) in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Fullstack) to join the Finance Technology Team within Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) supporting the Liquidity Risk Management Line of Business. In this role, you will lead efforts to automate key end user computing manual processes, driving efficiency and scalability across multiple business functions. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams and stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain solutions that streamline operations. This role is critical to transforming the operational backbone of Liquidity Reporting and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of experience developing Single Page Architecture (SPA) web applications using JavaScript, Angular or a combination of both

  • 2+ year of experience developing with Angular 7 or later

  • 2+ years of application development experience with ASP.NET(C#)

  • 2+ years of experience writing relational database (MS SQL server) queries for stored procedures

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Python and Pyspark development experience

  • 2+ years of SQL query optimization and performance tuning

  • 1+ years of API Gateway engineering experience such as Apigee

  • 1+ years of Kafka experience

  • 1+ year of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers.
