THE BUSINESS GROUP

The Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) at Honeywell is a division focused on corporate-level functions and initiatives that support the overall operations and strategy of the company. It is responsible for overseeing areas such as finance, legal, human resources, communications, and corporate governance, working closely with other business units and SBGs to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization. The CORP SBG plays a crucial role in the overall strategic direction and management of Honeywell's corporate functions and operations, supporting the company's business objectives.

THE POSITION

As a Lead IT Analyst - SAP Functional (Finance) here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing expertise in SAP Finance modules and supporting the finance operations of the company. You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our SAP Finance systems to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. Your knowledge of SAP Finance modules and your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will contribute to the overall success of Honeywell.

You will report directly to our Senior IT Director, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, OR Phoeniz, AZ locations on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company's financial decision-making, operational efficiency, and long-term growth, making you an essential asset to the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expertise in SAP Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, New GL, Project Systems, Input/output Tax Calculation, Product Costing, Banking Integration, Finance integration points to other modules like OM and ISC (not all required).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP Finance system solutions.

  • Configure and customize SAP Finance modules to meet business needs and optimize system functionality.

  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Provide end-user support and training on SAP Finance system functionality and best practices.

  • Collaborate with IT and internal stakeholders to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy and security.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and drive efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls by performing regular system audits.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP Finance functional analysis or related roles.

  • Minimum of 5 end to end SAP deployment projects taking a central delivery role on site

  • Strong expertise in SAP Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.

  • Understanding the full cycle of A2R, C2C and P2P

  • Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization.

  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with leadership

  • Ability to exemplify strategic thinking and complex problem-solving

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

  • Experience in a multinational company or global finance function.

  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards, such as GAAP and IFRS.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

  • Proven track record deploying SAP, delivering on enhancement and compliance work

  • Ability to read ABAP Code, work with programmers to debug complex issues

  • SAP New GL experience (ECC 6.0) and/or S4 finance modules experience
