Wells Fargo Lead Finance Analyst - Corporate FP&A in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analyst to lead the execution of Recovery Plan forecasting. These forecasts intended to show the firm's behavior under a variety of systemic and idiosyncratic stress scenarios, and to demonstrate the execution of management options to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of these options as real-world tools which could be used to restore confidence or financial viability.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end coordination and development of the financial forecasts (full balance sheet and income statements) under various stress scenarios

  • Maintain and enhance complex financial forecasting models/methodologies

  • Collaborate with various teams, including Liquidity, Capital, Corporate Development, LOB Finance teams, RMG, RRPO, BSIRRM, FRM, Corporate Tax, etc.

  • Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets internal control standards

  • Recommend opportunities and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting

  • Strong understanding of the strategic, financial, capital, liquidity, risk and credit sides of banking

  • Prior experience in Corporate Development or FP&A at the enterprise or line of business/divisional level at a large/complex financial institution

  • Strong communication and project management skills

  • Ability to articulate and present financials, projects and data in a clear, succinct manner with the ability to influence decisions

  • Proficiency with Essbase for reporting and analysis; experience using Power BI and/or Alteryx a plus

  • Expert in Excel

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
