Wells Fargo Lead Business Execution Consultant - COO Portfolio Governance and Insights Team in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the COO Portfolio Governance and Insights Team. This role is accountable for leading Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for change delivery, documenting procedures and controls, and portfolio and change risk management. They will also support broader portfolio governance and change delivery reporting across the Wells Fargo COO Portfolio and Book of Work.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform risk assessments to assess the design and effectiveness of our change management controls and procedures.

  • Help document, test, and continuously improve COO Change Management processes and controls.

  • Prepare executive level report-outs on risk management effectiveness and COO portfolio health and performance.

  • Provide governance and insights to help effectively deliver a large portfolio in Wells Fargo's Chief Operating Office

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions.

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Portfolio/Program Management Experience

  • Change Management Experience

  • Risk Management Experience

  • RCSA and Control Management Experience

  • First-line testing experience

  • Significant experience with operational support and initiative implementation including the ability to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information, derive the implications, and present them in an effective way.

  • Experience both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Ability to manage difficult or complex investment portfolios

  • Experience working with executives, senior managers and subject matter experts across Wells Fargo

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Willingness to work on-site in one of the listed locations
