Responsibilities

• Work with internal customers to gather and understand requirements

• Function as a technical lead when needed for feature and functionality development

• Perform code reviews and testing

• Collaborate with a small team of developers and share development responsibilities

Qualifications

Must have:

• 10+ years developer experience with 7+ years JavaScript development experience

• Server-side Node.js or other JavaScript/Typescript development experience – they have a little React, but not stuck on specific framework – vanilla javascript is important

• Experience developing dashboards

• Experience working with internal customers to gather requirements – MUST HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE and be able to lead these conversations.

• Good communication skills and the ability to summarize and document technical processes

• Proficiency working in both Windows and Linux server environments – mostly Linux environment, but some windows experience is good

• Strong database and SQL skills

• Solid understanding of the different types of code-coverage and writing Unit/Functional tests

• Experience with Active Directory and LDAP – some flexibility on this so don't discount anyone that lacks it.

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Exposure to UX/UI design concepts

Nice to have:

• Typescript experience

• Basic experience with Linux server administration

• T-SQL and SQL Server experience

• Experience with modern CSS techniques and frontend performance optimization

• Java/Groovy/Gradle experience for occasional updates and debugging of Jenkins pipelines

• Experience with TFS for reviewing legacy code and GIT for all other SCM

• Full stack development experience
