We’re Hiring for an IT SAP Specialist – MM/WM !

THE ROLE: The Sr. IT SAP Analyst will be a member of the SAP Center of Excellence with a focus on SAP MM/WM for all SAP instances across the global. This role reports to the SAP COE Sr. Director who is responsible for the SAP Center of Excellence. The SAP COE will ensure 24/7 support, maintain service levels, and uphold the highest quality in system and technology support.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Support end users by troubleshooting issues, providing training, and offering guidance on SAP MM/WM functionality and best practices.

  • Provide expertise and guidance on SAP MM/WM functionality, including procurement, inventory management, inbound/outbound logistics, and warehouse processes.

  • Design, configure, and customize SAP MM and WM modules to meet business needs and to ensure optimal levels of performance.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, BRMs, other SAP teams, and external vendor, to gather Change Request requirements, define scope, and prioritize initiatives.

  • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP solutions.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals, to support SAP MM/WM implementations and enhancements.

  • Analyze business processes related to Materials management and Warehouse Operation to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Collaborate with the broader IT team to integrate SAP MM/WM with CRM, CPQ, Ariba, Taulia, Maintain, Coupa and other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to define IDOC/EDI standards, map SAP fields and business processes to IDOC/EDI transactions and troubleshoot IDoc/EDI-related issues to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of transactions.

  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities to ensure successful delivery of SAP MM/WM projects on time and within budget.

  • Stay current with SAP releases, updates, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in SAP MM/WM during audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory assessments, providing documentation and support as needed to demonstrate adherence to relevant standards and regulations.

  • Participate in change management activities, including impact assessments, stakeholder communication, and training delivery, to facilitate smooth transitions during SAP system changes.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of SAP MM/WM system documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and standard operating procedures, to support knowledge transfer and ensure system sustainability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement SAP MM/WM reporting and analytics solutions, leveraging SAP BI/BW or other reporting tools to provide insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP MM/WM functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, and warehouse processes.

  • Proficiency in IDoc and EDI concepts, including configuration, mapping, and monitoring, with hands-on experience in setting up IDoc types, message types, partner profiles, and EDI communication channels within SAP systems.

  • Strong understanding of integration points between SAP MM/WM and other SAP modules, such as SD/CS, PP/QM, and FI/CO.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with SAP Ariba applications is highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS or CS preferred, or relevant concentration, with 8+ years of experience; or a Graduate Degree (Masters) in MIS or CS preferred, or relevant concentration, with 6+ years of experience; or relevant and equivalent business or IT experience of minimum of 10 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The proven ability to present information in various forms so as to clearly communicate the meaning of that information to a broad audience in an actionable and unambiguous way.

  • Able to understand and digest complex material from one domain or discipline and present it to people of a different discipline without loss in translation.

  • Experience in effectively building relationships with teams spanning multiple functions and organization branches.

  • Have knowledge on ITSM process and ServiceNow tool is a plus.

  • SAP certification in MM and/or WM modules is a plus.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the working environment is generally in an office setting and may be performed remotely. The physical demands may include but are not limited to moving around in an office environment, frequent oral communication, close vision, and ability to operate office equipment. Up to 15% time spent traveling.

Salary range:

$91,500.00 - $164,500.00
