Novant Health Intern in Charlotte, North Carolina
Job Summary
The Intern will assist the Financial Planning and Analysis team with ongoing projects, including joint venture and strategic opportunity assessment and capital planning. The Intern must understand financial concepts such as NPV, IRR and discounted cash flow analysis, and be familiar with basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft Office programs is also required.
The Intern will gain valuable insight into the financial planning and corporate development function of a complex healthcare system and contribute to Novant Health’s strategic goals and mission.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Education in basic office procedures, preferred.
Experience: Relevant coursework in finance and accounting, preferred.
Additional Skills (required): Ability to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.
