Histology Technician

Location: Charlotte, NC - 28211

Employment Type: Direct-Hire, Permanent

Setting: Pathology Lab - Private Gastro Medical Practice

Pay: $30-$33/hr

Shift : Full-time, Evening, Mon-Fri, 12pm-9pm

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as Histology Technician

• Associate's Degree

• ASCP Certification: HT (Histotechnician) or HTL (Histotechnologist) Certification

Key Duties:

• Operate both manual and automated histology techniques to prepare tissue samples effectively.

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in various histology lab settings to meet the needs of the team.

• Execute precise microtomy tasks, ensuring high attention to detail in all cutting procedures.

• Work independently while providing assistance in grossing, processing, and staining of specimens as required.

• Perform embedding and cutting of tissue samples to support accurate histologic examination.
