Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing technical and mechanical functions, as directed by the Chief Engineer, to operate the property with maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service to the building and its tenants. Responsibilities include executing preventative maintenance schedules and troubleshooting facility systems.
Responsibilities
Perform basic plumbing repairs such as fixing leaky sinks or faucets.
Conduct basic electrical repairs including replacing light switches, ballasts, or power outlets.
Carry out minor carpentry or drywall repairs.
Execute Preventative Maintenance schedules such as HVAC filter swaps, fire extinguisher inspections, and exit sign inspections.
Troubleshoot facility systems as needed.
Essential Skills
High degree of mechanical aptitude.
Strong working knowledge of using hand tools and power tools.
Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
Strong communication skills and a high degree of professionalism..
Work Environment
Work will be performed in professional healthcare environments such as clinics and offices, not hospitals. The role involves local travel from site to site. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, although hours may vary based on work order demand. Some projects may require after-hours work. Uniforms are provided, including work pants, branded shirts, and comfortable boots. Steel toes are not required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00
