Description

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for an ecommerce specialist for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC.

Position Overview:

The eCommerce Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales channels, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving revenue growth. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, technical skills, and a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management:

  • Manage and maintain the company's eCommerce website, ensuring it is up-to-date with accurate product information, pricing, and promotions.

  • Optimize website performance, including loading speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.

  • Collaborate with design and development teams to implement new features and updates.

Product Listings:

  • Create, edit, and optimize product listings, including product descriptions, images, and metadata.

  • Ensure all product listings are SEO-friendly to improve search engine rankings and visibility.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales, including PPC campaigns, email marketing, and social media advertising.

  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align eCommerce efforts with broader marketing initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.

  • Use analytics tools to track website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior.

  • Prepare regular reports for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure a positive customer experience by managing online customer service channels, including chat, email, and social media.

  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle returns and exchanges efficiently.

  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Vendor & Partner Management:

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, such as payment processors and shipping carriers, to ensure seamless operations.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners to optimize costs and services.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with eCommerce trends, tools, and best practices.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to implement them.

  • Test and evaluate new technologies and platforms to enhance the eCommerce experience.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related role.

  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.

  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing principles.

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and eCommerce tracking.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
