Honeywell Director, Process Improvement in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Director of Accelerator Process Improvement here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership for process & productivity improvement. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for Honeywell's programs and processes.

You will report directly to our Vice President, Transformation (ESS) and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact strategy, revenue growth, innovation, customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, resource allocation, risk management, and cost-efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive continuous improvement across all departments by leading Kaizen events, fostering a culture of innovation, and implementing Lean methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for process optimization, leveraging data analysis, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma principles to enhance operational efficiency and productivity

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and promoting best practices across the company

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, analyze trends, and provide regular reports to senior management on the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and their impact on productivity, cost savings, and revenue/income growth

  • Develop and implement process improvement & productivity strategies and best practices to drive efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with program and process management standards and guidelines

  • Work with ESS leadership to drive/maintain installation and sustainment of results from the use of the processes and tools.

  • Work with Honeywell Accelerator leadership to drive & continuously improve GDMs across ESS

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and drive productivity resulting in a reduction in fixed costs (FCP1)

  • Provide leadership in driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in program, process management, Kaizen, six sigma or related roles

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Six sigma green belt, black belt, or lean manufacturing certification

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in a global organization

  • Experience in leading program or process management teams

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
