Novant Health Urogynecolgy Huntersville Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. What You'll Do:

  1. Patient Care:

  • Administer medications and support patients with clear, compassionate communication.

    1. Clinical Laboratory Duties:
  • Perform blood draws and lab tests with care and precision, always putting patient safety first.

  • Keep patient information secure and confidential, following HIPAA guidelines.

  • Ensure lab results are accurately reported and help maintain high-quality standards.

  • Educate patients about their health in a way that’s easy to understand and empowering.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

  • Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists. Required.

  • Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required.

  • Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
