Job Title: General Handyman

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled General Handyman with a construction experience to join our team. With two immediate openings, you will be working on refurbishing customers' trailers. This role requires experience in finishing work with framing, and the ability to work in a busy and dynamic environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.

  • Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware using carpenters' hand or power tools.

  • Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, or power tools.

  • Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.

  • Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace using hand tools.

  • Inspect ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

  • Ability to use hand tools, machines, and power tools efficiently.

  • Strong safety consciousness.

Work Environment

Candidates will be working in a shop environment refurbishing trailers. This clean, organized environment also requires openness to working in a construction-type setting. Occasionally, candidates may be expected to work in the yard as needed. Safety is the top priority, and all team members must adhere to safety protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
