Your Career

As a Capture Solutions Architect you'll join our Public Sector Organization (supporting Federal agencies) as a strategic leader in our Business Development (BD) and Capture team. In this role, you will partner with the BD/Capture group to craft solutions and strategies for large-scale industry opportunities, aligning our security platform offerings with the mission objectives of our clients.

As the Public Sector Capture Solutions Architect, you will serve as the technical storyteller, translating our solutions into transformative architectures and approaches for complex cybersecurity and cloud challenges. Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and clients to design solutions that address mission-critical needs, such as SOC transformation, secure remote work, cloud modernization, Zero Trust architectures, and 5G implementation. Evangelize Palo Alto Networks’ security offerings, influencing technical and non-technical audiences while shaping industry perspectives on solving large-scale security challenges. Lead the technical solutioning practice, supporting proposal development, client engagement, and thought leadership to drive innovation and win key programs. This is an exciting opportunity to be a thought leader, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape impactful solutions for our public sector clients.

Your Impact

As the Capture Solutions Architect, your contributions will directly support the company’s mission of delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. You define your impact by:

• Creating innovative architectures and strategies aligned with client mission objectives and industry challenges.

• Guiding cross-functional teams and partners to align solutions with customer needs during large program captures and proposals.

• Building relationships with mission leaders and clients, presenting solutions that shape perceptions and align with long-term objectives.

• Producing white papers, presentations, and technical marketing content to position Palo Alto Networks as a leader in public sector cybersecurity solutions.

• Representing Palo Alto Networks as a technical evangelist at conferences and industry meetings.

Your Experience

• 10+ years designing solutions for Federal programs with a focus on cybersecurity, cloud, SOC transformation, and network modernization.

• 10+ years leading or supporting large proposal, capture, and sales motions requiring detailed solutioning and development of winning proposals.

• 10+ years working within Federal procurement, acquisition, and proposal processes, with knowledge of contracting and business methods.

• 10+ years in technical solutioning involving writing, presenting, and developing thought leadership content.

• In-depth knowledge of IOT, SCADA, 5G, and Zero Trust architectures.

• Ability to travel within the U.S. and hold a Federal Clearance.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $186000 - $255000/YR.
