Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in requirement gathering, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking initiative, leveraging JIRA for tracking and documentation, and working in complex business environments. Spanish-speaking proficiency is a plus. This role is fully remote with some travel required and offers the potential for contract extension or conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive business requirement gathering sessions with key stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements for development teams.

• Utilize JIRA to manage requirements, track progress, and facilitate agile workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business leaders, to ensure alignment on project goals.

• Identify process improvements and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

• Serve as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying risks and opportunities within projects.

• Support testing and validation efforts to ensure requirements are met before deployment.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project success.

• Travel occasionally as needed for key meetings, workshops, or stakeholder engagement.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, operations, or financial services.

• Strong experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.

• Proficiency with JIRA for issue tracking, workflow management, and documentation.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in fast-paced environments.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment.

• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

• Ability to travel as required.
