The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

Today across RTX there are a variety of business processes and software platforms that support the flow of information from our customers to our factories to our suppliers and enable our ability to report and analyze our collective performance. In support of the future oneRTX initiative, the enterprise has begun a Process & Systems Transformation (PST) journey to optimize business processes, enable data strategy, and implement a common approach to our next generation ERP software - SAP/S4 HANA.

The Process & Systems Transformation Management Office team is focused on setting up the framework and executing RTX ERP Transformation partnering with Corporate, Enterprise Services and the Business Units. This role will help support customer and financial performance through technological advancements, data insights and process optimization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role will support Financial Strategy, including long-term rage planning activities, corresponding investment and savings framework.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support Business Case development framework across oneRTX and Business Units.

  • Outlining guidelines and approach for Business Case within developed framework.

  • Assist with development of savings realization measurement framework and corresponding KPI’s required for measuring benefits and costs in future years.

  • Support definition of the execution strategy (roadmap) to achieve the value and monitor costs.

  • Providing guidance and support to Business Units relative to business case development activities.

  • Participate in pathfinder/proof of concept activities and developing business case assumptions for those activities.

  • Partner with Corporate, Digital, and other Functions on developing benefits, costs and data collection strategies.

  • Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and validation of costs associated with LRP processes and enabling technologies.

  • Participate in other related finance analysis and/or projects.

  • Some travel required 10-20%.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • This role typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and minimum 12 years or relevant work experience to include internal/external auditing and/or Accounting, or Finance OR an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in FP&A and Long-Range Plan development process.

  • Knowledge of Business Case development type of activities.

  • Ability to understand business processes and analyze management’s methods for identifying and mitigating risk.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills, including ability to brief senior leaders on project results.

  • Effective collaboration skills to work across disciplines including finance, operations, and digital as well as Business Units.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities with limited oversight.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and other analytical tools.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
