RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and deliver complex data solutions to accomplish technology and business goals.

  • Code design and delivery tasks associated with the integration, cleaning, transformation and control of data in operational and analytics data systems.

  • Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

  • Code complex solutions to integrate, clean, transform and control data in operational and/or analytics data systems per the defined acceptance criteria.

  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependency and workload management.

  • Define and build data pipelines that enable faster, better, data-informed decision-making within the business.

  • Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of software development life cycle including requirement elicitation, application architecture definition and design.

  • Create high level and detailed level design artifacts and deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, performing validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of functional, system, user and reporting requirements, including Use Cases, Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications and Data Mapping & Flow Diagrams.

  • Perform data-governance and regulatory reporting initiatives for a large bank from inception to completion and maintenance, including: collecting business requirements, data analysis and translation into Data Solutions Specifications.

  • Utilize programming language, including Java, and J2EE and databases Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
