Impact Workforce Solutions Administrative Assistant in Charlotte, North Carolina

Company Overview:

Impact Workforce Solutions is currently hiring for an Administrative Assistant in the North Charlotte area.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication within the office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $18/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the President with daily administrative tasks and projects.

  • Prepare and send out quotes and invoices to clients.

  • Perform payroll data entry and assist with related administrative tasks.

  • Manage travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and itineraries.

  • Support monthly closing entries and assist with financial record-keeping.

  • Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite to perform various tasks.

  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to facilitate communication and workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Prior administrative experience is a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with the engineering field is beneficial.

Schedule:

Part-time hours initially, with the potential to transition to full-time based on training and company needs. Typical hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM.
