Description We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your role will involve managing customer credit applications with efficiency, maintaining accurate records of customer credit, and addressing customer queries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Handle electronic communication and telephone calls for collections on overdue accounts receivables

• Implement and oversee payment plans for customers

• Manage call and correspondence activities along with chargebacks

• Provide quality assurance monitoring for all accounts

• Assist with special requests from both internal and external customers

• Document activities and maintain follow-ups on all accounts

• Respond to customer calls regarding account inquiries

• Supply documentation to customers when requested, such as invoices and statements. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and billing procedures.

• Demonstrated experience in cash applications and cash collections.

• Skilled in commercial collections and ensuring prompt payments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with Oracle for effective financial management.

• Experience using QuickBooks for accounting procedures.

• Knowledge of SAP for streamlined business operations.

• Ability to manage accounts receivable effectively.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
