Hiring Material Handlers $18 p/hr!

Job Description

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving inbound freight and processing and shipping outbound orders. This role involves using a sit-down forklift 20% of the time and performing continuous heavy lifting of boxes weighing up to 75 lbs for 80% of the time. Attention to detail is crucial for performing inventory cycle counts and other operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound materials and conduct inventory cycle counts.

• Sort and stack inbound freight.

• Operate material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts.

• Use pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and cherry pickers.

• Maintain an accurate inventory and a clean, organized warehouse.

• Use RF scanners for work orders.

• Load and unload materials, pick, pack, and ship orders.

• Stock and move materials correctly throughout the warehouse.

• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.

• Follow quality standards and established safety procedures.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years’ work experience in a warehouse.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs to 60 lbs.

• Attention to detail for inventory control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools for removing bearings is a plus.

• Comfortable with operating material handling equipment and working at heights.

Work Environment

Brand new facility with very nice break rooms. The warehouse is not climate controlled but has large industrial and floor fans to circulate air flow.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25
