CITY OF CHARLOTTE DPW LABORER in CHARLOTTE, Michigan
Join us as DPW LABORER (SEIU IV)
Are you ready to make a hands-on impact in your community? We're seeking motivated individuals to join our Public Works team as DPW Laborers. As a DPW Laborer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our city's public infrastructure.
Responsibilities Include:
- Operating a variety of tools to install and repair water mains, sewer lines, and more.
- Collecting and disposing of rubbish, brush, and leaves to keep our city clean.
- Driving trucks, tractors, and other equipment to support daily operations.
- Performing minor repairs on city buildings, vehicles, and equipment.
- Loading and moving materials for various projects.
- Utilizing two-way radio communication systems for efficient teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform manual and semiskilled tasks effectively.
- Experience operating machinery and tools preferred.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license required.
