They can be consistently relied on to deliver exceptional daily care to our dolphins or sea lions while taking on small leadership roles like drafting and managing day plans, mentoring and teaching AWS 1 staff. Drawing on their strong foundational marine mammal training and guest service skills, they seamlessly provide memorable guest interactions that are engaging and rewarding for both animal and human participants. Additionally, they frequently conduct basic training sessions and address behavioral challenges that may arise with minimal guidance, while also embracing a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement. AWS 2 staff will work closely with AWS 3 and the Marine Mammal Manager to further develop their advanced animal care, training and leadership skillsets as they progress through their career.
