Key Responsibilities We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer with 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in water and wastewater system planning, hydraulic modeling, design, and construction management. The successful candidate will: Manage Projects: Plan, oversee, and deliver water/wastewater projects on time and within budget while meeting quality standards. Budget Oversight: Prepare and monitor project budgets, control work-in-progress, and ensure accurate client billing. Construction Phase Management: Participate in pre-bid conferences, bid evaluations, contract preparation, and provide interpretations during the construction phase. Technical Leadership: Independently handle technical tasks, lead and coordinate projects, and serve as project design lead when needed. Proposal Development: Support the preparation of technical proposals, particularly the development of technical approaches. Mentor and Train Staff: Share knowledge, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Client Interaction: Participate in pre-project presentations and interviews. Project Planning: Lead efforts from procurement and negotiation through execution and closeout, ensuring successful project outcomes. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Licensure: P.E. registration in West Virginia or ability to obtain registration through comity within 6 months. Experience: 510 years of progressive experience in water and wastewater system planning, design, and construction management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; NASSCO experience is a plus. Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to present and articulate ideas effectively.
