Role: Oracle Senior Analytics Solutions Architect

Location: Remote near Pleasanton, CA, is preferred, followed by Austin, TX. Other locations in the US will also be considered.

Note: This position is not eligible for C2C arrangement as it is direct hire. No sponsorship is available.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Analytics Solutions Architect on this team, you will be a key lead in the Analytics space, working with Oracle's leading Analytics Cloud products. You will contribute to the architecture, design, and development of complex Analytics solutions, requiring strong development, functional, and technical knowledge with excellent communication skills. You are expected to work closely with customer stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring deep understanding of their unique reporting and analytics requirements. You are expected to guide the development and implementation of advanced analytics frameworks, driving better decision-making and business outcomes for our customers. You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Additionally, you will take an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures within the CSS Analytic team, leveraging your advanced technical and business skills to contribute as a leading individual and team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities

About You

  • Lead solution architect and engagement on all large delivery projects, involved in all aspects of delivery to ensure quality standards.

  • Request for proposals, Scope of Work, Project Plans and Analytics Initiatives

  • Driving requirements gathering from customers

  • Preparing Functional Specifications Document and walking through the same with relevant stakeholders for sign-off.

  • Driving technical design and implementation of Fusion Data Intelligence (formerly FAW), OAC/OAS, OBIEE, BIApps solution.

  • Driving Conference Room Pilot sessions with business users and ensuring their feedback is incorporated into the solution.

  • Configuring and implementing FDI, OAC/OAS, OBIEE, BIApps applications based on Technical Specifications

  • Developing integration for ETL/ELT design and Data Integration

  • Assisting in the preparation of system documentation

  • Performing Unit and System Integration Testing.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing.

  • Assisting with Production deployment and roll out.

  • Supporting the FDI, OAC/OAS, OBIEE, BIApps solution post go-live.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area

  • 7+ years in software development or related field

  • 10+ years of experience delivering Analytics solutions

  • Executive level communications

  • Lead solution architecture and engagement on all large delivery projects, involved in all aspects of delivery to ensure quality standards.

  • Hands-on experience developing at least couple of full lifecycle project (Migrations, Implementations, Upgrades), ideally using FDI, OAC/OAS, OBIEE, BIApps, Oracle Data Integrator, OCI Data Integration

  • Expertise in integrating SaaS applications and on-premises application software, ideally using with FDI, OAC

  • Proficiency in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling

  • Strong understanding and experience with Data Integration, preference with Oracle tools such as ODI and OCIDI

  • Proficiency in at least two of Oracle’s four broad areas of offerings: infrastructure, database, middleware, and analytics

  • You have previous experience providing production support (supporting 24x7 operation, Incident/Change/Release/Security management)

  • Knowledge of scripting (Batch, VBScript, Python, PowerShell, Terraform)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in DevOps tools, end-to-end integration solutions, and implementation of FDI, OAC/OAS, OBIEE, BIApps, Oracle Data Integrator, OCI Data Integration

  • Implementation experience with FDI, OAC/OAS, OBIEE, BIApps covering both functional and technical administration scope

  • Experience working with internal customers and translating requests into prioritized work or features

  • Domain expert & in-depth Analytics Suites knowledge (FDI/OAC/OAS/OBIEE/BIApps/ODI/OCIDI) with 10+ years of experience in consulting and has led multiple implementations, starting from Requirement Gathering, Converting Functional Spec to Technical Spec.

  • In-depth Analytic suite Functional knowledge, Implementation experience with designing solutions as per customer requirements

  • Scripting (Batch, VBScript, Python, PowerShell, Terraform)

  • Has performed Unit, System Integration Testing and Support User Acceptance Testing, and provided support with Production deployment and roll out.

  • Strong problem-solving skills (from an Applications/Functional/Operational perspective) with the ability to exercise mature judgement and closing it with root cause analysis / CAPA.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and master unfamiliar concepts quickly with little supervision. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

  • Be able to operate independently to provide quality work products; perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment

  • Design & development of ETLs/ELTs using Oracle Data Integrator, either within the OBIA or standalone

  • Experience in migration and upgrades

  • Has developed and executed complex SQL queries to analyze data issues end to end

Ideal qualification is for someone who is well-versed in Oracle's analytics offerings, but people with a strong overall analytics architect background and an interest in learning Oracle tools will be considered.

US: Hiring Range: from $45.53 to $95.91 per hour; from $94,700 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
