Emerson Semiconductor Product Marketer in Charleston, West Virginia
Objective of Role
As a Product Marketer for our semiconductor production and reliability test solutions, you will be the driving force behind the market success of our Semiconductor Test System (STS) turnkey ATE solution and our instrumentation portfolio which spans from DC to RF, from analog to digital! This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic marketing capabilities to craft compelling value propositions, build impactful marketing content, train the sales force, and enable customer success!
You will act as an inspiring leader in this space, crafting narratives that resonate with customers, encouraging strategic partnerships, and aligning NI's product offerings with market opportunities. You will work closely with the Semiconductor and Electronics BU leadership, product management, R&D, sales, and integrated marketing teams to align messaging with technical differentiation, market trends, and customer needs. Your efforts will ensure our products stand out in competitive markets and drive adoption in semiconductor and electronics applications. Success in this role hinges on your ability to translate technical insights into compelling marketing campaigns, facilitate collaboration, and achieve measurable business outcomes.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Develop and communicate clear, differentiated product value propositions tailored to customer needs and market trends.
Craft messaging frameworks, technical marketing content, and go-to-market strategies for NI’s semiconductor production and reliability test solutions.
Collaborate with integrated marketing teams to design and execute digital campaigns, webinars, white papers, and technical presentations.
Create content that bridges the technical depth of the products with compelling narratives for target audiences.
Partner with field marketing to develop account-based marketing strategies and event support materials.
Gather customer feedback through interviews, surveys, and interactions at events or conferences to inform marketing strategies.
Support sales teams with technical training, presentations, and customer-facing tools to effectively position products.
Identify and amplify customer success stories to demonstrate product value in real-world applications.
Work with product management and R&D to understand technical roadmaps and translate them into market-ready messaging.
Partner with sales to monitor pipeline performance, address gaps, and refine marketing tactics based on customer needs.
Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on customer and market trends.
Act as a vocal advocate for NI products and solutions across all internal and external engagements.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, or related roles within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and related test equipment.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing content and strategies.
Experience with digital marketing tools, account-based marketing, and content creation.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends and develop data-driven strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Experience in working with multifaceted cultures & countries, as part of a global organization
Excellent verbal and written English skills required.
Travel: Some domestic and international travel could be required on an irregular basis
