A local law office is seeking a full-time paralegal to perform a variety of tasks to help keep things running smoothly. Responsibilities: As a paralegal you will assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings. Organize and track files from case documents and make them available and easily accessible to attorneys. Compile, analyze, and organize information. Prepare and edit written reports. Some other duties might include answering phone, responding to emails, filing, creating and maintaining schedules for lawyers, ordering supplies, copying and faxing. Qualifications: A high school diploma or the equivalent. Any experience with personal injury, family law, or employment law Be neat, well groomed, and have a courteous, pleasant manner Good verbal and written communication skills. Good customer service and problem solving skills. Clerical skills including word processing, filing, and records management Evaluation-to-hire position. Hours are Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Pay ranges between $15 to $20 an hour.
