City National Bank of West Virginia Office Manager - Kanawha City in Charleston, West Virginia

Leads branch teller and personal banking staff to assure quality service and compliance with policies and procedures. Maintains documentation necessary to assure compliance with all teller policies/procedures/audit requirements. May open new deposit accounts and handle client account servicing. Performs all teller duties when required, in addition to supervisory duties. Essential Functions Include: Demonstrates proficiency in abilities to manage/coach/lead teller staff Recruits, hires, trains, develops and evaluates staff to achieve performance goals and production standards Demonstrates proficiency in all areas of branch operations Supports Branch Manager in achieving sales goals Indentifies and acts upon customer development opportunities while exercising good risk management Maintains complete, accurate documentation Assumes responsibility for researching, correcting, and collecting errors in transaction processing Assures compliance with bank standards, audit recommendations and relates local, state and federal regulations Completes compliance training Coaches and develops staff to actively sell, refer, deliver and promote the banks products and services Maintains a thorough knowledge of all the banks products and services and a working knowledge of competitive products and services Contacts present customers to retain and expand existing banking relationships. Counsels customers on financial and related matters. Handles difficult customers. Represents the company at various civic and community functions to further enhance the banks image and develop additional business Produce a minimum of $250,000 a year in retail loans Position Requirements Include: 3+ years of banking or sales experience General knowledge of the financial services industry products/services Ability to make independent decisions concerning customer inquiries and problems Must be compliant with Loan Officer Qualification Requirements of the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and Regulation Z. Compliance includes a review of the candidates financial responsibility, character, and general fitness prior to placement in the role and within 30 days of employment compliance with NMLS registration and corresponding background check requirements.
