Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Charleston, South Carolina. As a Staff Accountant, your primary role will be to handle various accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations. You will also be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger, processing Journal Entries, and assisting with Month End Close activities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties.

• Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations.

• Maintain and update the General Ledger as necessary.

• Prepare and post Journal Entries.

• Assist in Month End Close activities.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

• Process and categorize Bank Transactions.

• Handle payroll duties, including processing bonuses and running payroll for various entities.

• Review and approve receipts on a monthly and quarterly basis.

• Oversee weekly credit card reports and transactions. Requirements

• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bank Transaction management

• Solid understanding and practical experience with General Ledger operations

• Ability to prepare accurate Journal Entries

• Capability to manage Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks

• Previous experience with Oracle accounting software

• Familiarity with QuickBooks and its functionalities

• Knowledge of SAP accounting system and its operation.
