Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is currently seeking a highly motivated Software Integration Specialist to support a United States Marine Corps (USMC) effort within Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic in North Charleston, South Carolina. Key Responsibilities:

Provide software integration support for both destructive and nondestructive builds across Windows and Linux platforms, compile source code using automation tools and processes, and support the integration of Government Off The Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software in support of the project systems.

Coordinate with current and future Tactical Data Systems (TDSs), software platforms and other entities required for data exchange, publish, and subscribe capabilities, data fusion, data correlation, data aggregation and interface management of current and future systems and initiatives. Provide support to all integration lab operations and environments with network setup, configuration, and maintenance, as well as hardware and software installation and configuration. Facilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performance. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of technical experience supporting C4ISR engineering, software development, integration programs, or similar USMC / Navy efforts, to include:
  1. Compiling source code using various automation tools and processes

  2. Knowledge of operating system scripting, interactive software loading scripts, and backup and restore scripts, as well as knowledge of Information Assurance Vulnerabilities Management and software updates as well as patching necessary to repackage software

  3. Schema development, software assurance code review and integration, finding remediation, adherence to standardized secure coding guidelines and practices, maintenance support for system imaging and software selection applications, software development for deficiency corrections/fixes or changes to existing code

  4. Expertise and support to the government concerning system design and interoperability in order to modernize current software baselines and leverage emerging technology such as model based systems engineering, cloud computing, virtualization, containers, machine learning and artificial intelligence

  5. Development and execution of integration-level quality assurance testing to validate product functionality against established requirements and design

  • Additional / concurrent experience to include:
  1. Subject matter expertise on DoD systems and initiatives regarding defects, change requests, fleet communications, and cybersecurity findings

  2. Experience working on and/or supporting one or more of the following programs of record: Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), Army Data Dissemination Service (DDS), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Global Command and Control System – Tactical Combat Operations (GCCS-TCO), Tactical COP Server (TCS), Joint Tactical Common Operation Picture (COP) Workstation (JTCW), Tactical Service Oriented Architecture (TSOA), Common Hosting Environment (CHE), Application Programming Interface (API) and Integrated Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) System Framework (ICSF)

  3. Experience working within an Agile / SAFe environment

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience using the following platforms, software, applications, etc.:
  1. VMware ESX/ESXi, VMware vCenter, VMware vSphere

  2. PowerShell, VBScript, Batch

  3. MS Windows (All Versions), Windows Server, RedHat Linux

  4. Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC)

  5. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange

  • Working knowledge of Ansible and YAML/JSON

  • Experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking

  • Highly proficient with SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Intelink, Naval LIFT, or similar products

  • Proven experience working successfully across geographically diverse cross-functional teams

  • High-level attention to detail and the ability to track multiple projects, tasks, schedules, and competing priorities

  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities, with proven experience designing and implementing solutions to complex problems

  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment

  • Proven leadership ability as well as strong decision-making skills

  • Process-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university desired

  • Desired certifications:

  1. Completed or working towards completing the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) OR A Red Hat® Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), AND a certification in that meets the requirements for IAT level 2 (i.e., Security + CISSP)

  2. Working towards completing the following certifications: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM) / Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP)

  3. Vendor/platform-specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), etc.)

  4. Agile / Scrum / SAFe certification(s)

  • U.S. Citizen

  • Active SECRET clearance
