We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager based in Charleston, South Carolina. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing accounting information, and developing budgets. This role is a great fit for someone who has a strong understanding of accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Manage the billing functions through the scheduling and contract system

• Collaborate with an outsourced firm for the processing of billing, payroll, and other account-related tasks

• Facilitate the month-end close process and generate accurate reports

• Develop and implement a 12-month rolling budget plan

• Utilize Quickbooks Enterprise and Avalara for various accounting functions

• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial information

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.

• Demonstrable experience in handling all Accounting Functions.

• Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in Auditing is crucial for this role.

• Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively.

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures is necessary.

• Experience in Budgeting - Forecasting is a key requirement for this role.
