Responsibilities

  • Maintain three-phase 460V, 230V or 208V process power distribution systems

  • Maintain single-phase 277V and 120V utility power systems

  • Maintain and troubleshoot DCS computer systems in manufacturing areas

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Steam Plan monitoring system

  • Assist engineers in specifying, designing and building mew instrumentation systems

  • Responsible for installing new electrical/pneumatic equipment and controls

  • Set up and maintain records for equipment repairs and status

  • Perform instrument calibrations. Set up and maintain calibration records

  • Write SOP’s for instrument calibrations

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant wide instrumentation, electrical and control systems

  • Modify existing or engineers new electrical control system when applicable

  • Rebuilds electrical equipment from existing components

    All employees are required to adhere to DEA, EPA, FDA and cGMP regulations as they relate to the operation of the Company; and to adhere to all company safety rules and procedures. All employees are expected to report to work regularly and promptly. Other duties relating to departmental mission, not specifically detailed in this section may be assigned.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, 2 year Associates degree in Electronics highly desired.

  • 5 or more years of experience in maintenance or manufacturing role. Electrical background strongly preferred.

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Significant experience and working knowledge of all types of electrical and computer-based equipment.

  • Experience working in self-directed work environment beneficial

  • Must be able to work a night shift and participate in coverage rotation for 24/7 on-call plant coverage.
