Vintage & Auto Rebuilds, Inc. is dedicated to the preservation of early 1900's English automobiles, specifically Rolls-Royce and Bentley. We specialize in restorations, repairs and maintenance on vehicles trusted with us from all over the world. Our work is displayed and awarded at numerous prestigious automobile events.
We have a position available for a MECHANIC.
Responsibilities include disassembling, repairing and rebuilding the automobiles and/or auto components including chassis, engine, electrical, brake, steering, gearbox systems and more. Our mechanics are expected to be able to recognize good vs bad parts, troubleshoot, fix problems, create parts lists and document their work. Our mechanics work with our in house machinist team to engineer and fit parts.
Ideal candidates should have experience with general mechanic work, basic machining, simple circuit wiring, soldering and basic welding. Having knowledge of shop equipment, tools and measuring devices is a must. Candidates must be extremely organized and mechanically inclined with the ability to transfer modern car knowledge to vintage cars. Experience with any kind of car building (antique/muscle/hot rods), motorcycles or any custom shop work will be considered.
The hours are 7:00am -- 5:30pm Monday -- Thursday with overtime as needed. The pay range is $24 - $25 per hour depending on experience and is negotiable.
