ManTech Program Executive Director in Chantilly, Virginia

ManTech is seeking a motivated customer-oriented Program Executive Director to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The Executive Director position is expected to be on-site with the customer and will require occasional travel to locations within Northern Virginia .

The Program Executive Director gives the team focus and direction based upon direction from the Sponsor, the mission of the Sponsor, and his/her own experience. He/She is the principal management interface between the Sponsor and the Contractor and shall perform but is not limited to the following functions:

  • Responsible for the execution of the SOW within cost and on schedule to include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the management of all Contractor transition activities

  • Have full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to the daily operation of this contract.

  • Recommend improvements to operational effectiveness, utility, and efficiency of business systems, administration, resources, procedures, and methods.

  • Provide reach-back and rapid response capabilities, as necessary.

  • Oversee personnel recruitment and retention and maintain adequate staffing to satisfactorily meet SOW requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant program or project management experience managing contracts of similar size (in contract value of FTE) and/or scope (similar technical requirements)

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of relevant program/project management experience

  • Experience overseeing applications development and/or computing infrastructure projects through lifecycle

  • Experience managing cost reimbursable contracts and controlling costs within contract value

  • Experience executing IT strategic architectures and strategies.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to include demonstrated experience briefing senior customer management and customer stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience developing, measuring, and monitoring key performance indicators

  • Strong analytic ability to evaluate programmatic IT data, resolve inconsistencies and propose solutions

  • Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer base.

  • Familiarity with IC and/or DoD IT architectures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP® or equivalent project management certification

Security Clearance Required:

  • An active TS/SCI Polygraph Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Frequently communicates w/co-workers, management & customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
