Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Procurement Specialist willprovideSoftware and Hardware Management and Controlfor customer assets. Responsibilities include:
Identifyingrequirements for software, software licenses, and maintenance agreements to support CT Service functionality where software licenses cannot be provided as Government-Furnished Property (GFP)
Identifyingrequirements for hardware and associated maintenance for server-based hardware requirements and other non-end user device equipment
Identifyingrequirements for hardware and software to support innovation, development, integration, and test environments
Developing, delivering,maintaining, and implementing plans, processes, and techniques toidentify, quantify, monitor, and inventory hardware and software assets (including licenses and maintenance agreements)
Providingthe capabilities necessary to define, track, and control licensesprocuredunder the contract and those licenses provided by the Sponsor for the full period of performance of the contract. This capability should be on-line/remotely accessiblethrough standard features (e.g., browser) to provide the Sponsor with situational awareness and ensure compliance with applicable license terms and conditions
Delivering Hardware/SoftwareReports totrack/audit hardware (equipment, parts, and materials) and software vendors, titles, licenses, quantities, costs, versions, and usage to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of each
Maintaining recordsin accordance withSponsoridentifiedpolicies to support audit requirements.
Assistingsenior procurement personnel and othermanagement to enable the creation and provision of defined plans, processes, methods, and tools for the procurement of hardware and software, ensuring supply chain management and chain of custody for the life of allcustomerassets to help protect from the inadvertent purchase of counterfeit or illegally modified products
Assistingsenior management researching and recommending cost effective purchase arrangements for customer approval
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Currentlypossessan activeTopSecret security clearance
Years of experience with degree:BS 0-2 Years or HS 6-8

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business administration

Work schedule: “Normal work hours” constitute on average 8 hours a day,40 hoursper week (excluding breaks and meal periods) within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
Amount of Travel: 20%
