Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support KDS and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a Remote opportunity. Candidate must be a US Citizen. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Work through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, functional/technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, deploying the applications and providing production support.

  • Responsible for all project designs and documentation.

  • Serves as a primary liaison between the product owner and the project team by assisting in identifying, understanding, and documenting their business needs.

  • Works closely with, and mentors, SharePoint team members to ensure knowledge sharing and effective solutioning.

  • May be assigned to more than one project in parallel, and report to multiple stakeholders.

  • Documents user stories or tasks.

  • Conducts presentations and communicates product features to both technical and non-technical communities.

  • Executes tasks for maintenance, development (and architecture design) or migration in the scope, schedule and budget, of SharePoint projects, including but not limited to:

  • Integration and customization of SharePoint products and features using M365, especially SharePoint Online, Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Experience with building modern SharePoint sites using out of the box features with an emphasis on modern design.

  • Develop workflows using Power Automate Flow.

  • Design and develop dashboards, and reports using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate when appropriate.

  • Create and customize forms using Power Apps Canvas Apps.

  • Provide end user technical support.

  • Migrate SharePoint features and data with ShareGate.

  • Prepare and deliver SharePoint end user training materials or instructions.

Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Power Platform Developer, and SharePoint Architect or Developer.

  • Experience in designing and integrating Power Pages with SharePoint Online or PowerApps

  • Proficient with presentation and web communication tools.

  • Experience in designing and integrating Power Platform applications in SharePoint.

  • Experience working on, coordinating, and communicating on cross-team initiatives.

  • Design experience with SharePoint Online Modern look and feel.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical problems to a non-technical audience.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Passion and drive for learning new SharePoint technologies and practices.

  • Ability to maintain a big-picture vision while defining very detailed requirements.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Adaptable, dependable and independent.

  • Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Must pass a background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience customizing and building Accessible SharePoint products and features, especially with Section 508 requirements.

  • Experience with Information Architecture and / or User Interface Design (e.g. wireframes, mockups, etc.)

  • Experience in designing, developing and integrating Tableau dashboards in SharePoint

  • Experience in designing and integrating Power BI dashboards in SharePoint

  • Experience using PowerShell, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or ShareGate +Nintex

  • Experience with Agile development

  • Proficient with requirements gathering tools. Atlassian experience a plus.

  • Experience with federal government systems.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
