Koniag Data Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a O365 Architect & PowerApps Developer to support KDS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust .

The resource will provide custom solution development to identify requirements, map and improve processes, conduct development and testing, release solutions, and create technical, user, and solution documentation. They will support customer programs with solution development and configuration tasks using various software applications, coding languages and programmatic tools. This will be applied across different projects of varying scope and complexity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop low-code/no-code applications, workflows, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and dashboards for agency/division applications and sites using Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate and the Microsoft Dataverse.

  • Develop webparts, controls, components, and solutions on SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 platform using authorized programming languages, frameworks, and libraries such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Node.js, Angular, React, Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Database.net, d3.js, SharePoint Framework, Power Apps Component Framework, etc.

  • Upgrade, modify, and modernize legacy low-code/no-code solutions in InfoPath, SharePoint Workflows, and SharePoint Designer to current technological solutions, e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Pages and the Microsoft Dataverse.

  • Configure User and Group Management for sites and Power Platform environments.

  • Develop SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites to include establishing permissions, page design, and content management.

  • Migrate SharePoint sites between platforms and/or Microsoft Teams sites.

  • Provide training to Site owners, Site Collection Administrators, and Teams Owners on proper usage of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites.

  • Provide documentation services for all developed sites, applications, components, services, and processes, both existing and new using SharePoint, MS Teams and other tools.

Education and Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience providing software development and solutions architect support.

  • Strong understanding of various operating systems and databases.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Candidates without a college degree will be considered but must have at least 10 years of relevant software/system or cloud architecture experience.

Required Skills and Competencies:

The successful candidate will have experience in the following:

  • U. S. Citizenship is required.

  • Proven work experience as a developer and solutions architect or similar role.

  • Knowledge in products and technologies listed above.

  • Understanding of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) certification process.

  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.

  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.

  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Solutions Architect.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
