ManTech Human Resources Analyst in Chantilly, Virginia

ManTec h is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Human Resources Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the administration of the organizational awards program and collaborate with the Government to develop strategies to ensure personnel are competitive for targeted awards, and to ensure format and quality standards are met, as well as timely submission of all monetary and non-monetary award write-ups

  • Investigate, organize, and recommend training courses; and track training records for the Government personnel assigned to the organization

  • Coordinate internally with Government leadership regarding the assignment of all personnel within the organization

  • Prepare and submit required hiring related items for all Military and Government Civilian positions

  • Availability Checks

  • Hiring Requisitions

  • Tour extensions

  • Time on Station (TOS) waiver requests

  • Position Vacancy Notices

  • Selection Memos

  • Coordinate, track and accurately maintain all onboarding and off-boarding records for the organization

  • Requests for clearances

  • Badges

  • IT accounts

  • Ad-hoc out-processing activities

  • Maintain personnel records digitally or otherwise to assist military and government civilian personnel in human capital management

  • Annual Performance Reports

  • Records of Performance (ROPs)

  • Awards and decorations

  • Promotion recommendation forms

  • Prepare briefing material and lead HR relevant topics at weekly senior meetings

  • Review, coordinate, and respond to internal TIER actions

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with a 5 years of relevant experience

  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organization and time management skills, excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications

  • Provides superior customer service through problem solving and collaboration

  • Ability to interface with all levels of customer and enterprise leadership

  • Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple projects to completion, and execute organizational objectives

  • Bachelor’s degree Human Resources or Human Capital Management; or related degree in business administration, business management, Organizational Development Psychology, or Sociology

  • Experience working with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) customer

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
