Actalent engineering division is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a large government project in Indian Head, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the design of large existing commercial buildings. Prepare reports, cost estimates, specification development, perform calculations, select equipment for specification, and prepare construction documents for bidding. Design in both AutoCAD/Revit, perform site visits, manage project deadlines, and interact with clients and architects.

Skills/Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• 4-10 years of MEP electrical experience

• Create construction documents for existing buildings

• Analysis of electrical specifications and design

• Knowledgeable of electrical code NEC, UFC, NFPA 70 NEC

• Project management

• Client interaction

• Deadline management

Work Environment

Flexible schedule starting from 6 am-8 am. Work directly onsite at the Client site at Indian Head, MD. Working on one large government project onsite for 4 days, 1 day from home.
