RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides subject matterexpertisefor Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Providesexpertisein requirements gathering, design, coordination, testing and support of customer BI reporting and analytic needs. Assists Project Manager in the development of project plans. Collaborates with business process owners, technicalstaffand project manager toleveragethe use of data and data strategies across a full spectrum of business/operational needs. May lead the execution of feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit,efficiencyand technical viability of solutions to business problems. Provides necessary dataelements and business knowledge to support the design and development of data models. May lead the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications. Employs data warehouse analysis and design experience, with knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling

Specifically,The Business Analyst will work under the direction of management toperform some or all the following:

• Documenting operations performed by end users, system operators, and system maintainers including periodic, scheduled maintenance.

• Documenting all hardware and software maintenance support actions and licensesrequiredto successfully provide O&M support.

• Monitoring the effectiveness of the policy,compliance, andbaselineprocesses, and recommending adjustmentstoimprove performance.

• Assistingthe application of anapproved governanceprocess formanagement of productdevelopment, deployment, andmaintenance.

• Work schedule: “Normal work hours” constitute on average 8 hours a day,40 hoursper week (excluding breaks and meal periods) within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
