Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Project Manager - UDS Services.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

This position is remote with up to 50% travel required. Candidate must reside in one of the following states to be considered:

• Wisconsin

• Minnesota

• Illinois

What you’ll do:

In this position you will;

• Build and Enhance the PMO: Actively contribute to the development and improvement of the Project Management Office by following established standards and participating in process improvement initiatives.

• Collaborative Leadership: Lead the project team by thoroughly understanding the contract and bill of materials (BOM), utilizing the RACI chart, and coordinating resources effectively on a recurring basis.

• Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently to meet project objectives, coordinating with team leaders and stakeholders to understand and fulfill resource requirements.

• Effective Communication: Create and distribute regular status reports to all customers and internal stakeholders, demonstrating project progress, sharing potential issues, and communicating the value delivered to both the customer and the company. Ensure required lines of communication are used.

• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with power utility personnel across multiple levels, including management, field, technical, planning, and marketing. Complete the Stakeholder Register and Communications Plan and share with the customer.

• Project Planning and Execution: Create, prepare, and achieve baseline project plans, including scope, estimates, costs, schedule, communications, quality, and any applicable changes needed. Work with the customer to define success and drive the project to that goal.

• Financial and Operational Forecasting: Provide timely and accurate forecasts of shipments and future orders to Finance and Operations. Utilize Eaton Services business systems and other project delivery best practices.

• Risk Management: Prevent technical and commercial issues through effective planning and risk management and apply best practice mitigation protocol in the Risk Management Plan.

• Continuous Improvement: Initiate and lead continuous improvement and learning organization actions. Continuously update the Lessons Learned Register and participate in quarterly forecasting meetings with the PMO.

• Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with applicable processes and procedures to achieve business goals.

• Customer Advocacy: Advocate for your customers by representing their interests and negotiating internally for resources and priorities they need.

• Financial Monitoring: Improve the financial position for Eaton and the customer by consistently monitoring the financials of your projects.

• Process Upgrades: Upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and customer trends.

• Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor internal staff to achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction.

• Industry Knowledge: Maintain a strong knowledge of competitive market factors and apply market knowledge to leverage the advantages of Eaton Corporation.

• Value-Driven Solutions: Continuously drive service solutions by asking, "How do we add value?" to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience

• Ability to travel up to 50% within the United States.

• No relocation is being offered for this position. Candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered: Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota. Active Duty military applicants are exempt from this restriction.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering from and accredited institution with an electrical or mechanical focus.

• Project Management Professional Certification.

• Electric utility project experience.

• Measurement and Verification experience with Utility Demand Response Programs.

• Experience with Communications Hardware, Firmware, and Enterprise Software systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven track record of demonstrating teamwork, time management, Customer service skills, and ability to function in an interrupt-based environment.

Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of an assignment and Customer satisfaction.

• Ability to apply project management methodologies and strategies to reduce potential project risk throughout the duration of the project lifecycle.

• Capable of planning and executing presentations on specific products and services to internal and external Customers to gain recognition and Customer acceptance.

• Consistent demonstration of planning, leading, and communication of results.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and situations to achieve superior proactive project order management and Customer service.

• Ability to present information to others in a persuasive way, professionally and diplomatically assert the leadership role required.
