Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Chanhassen, Minnesota

Description

We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to join our team. This role involves assisting field technicians, facilitating communication for the deployment team, and guaranteeing the effective completion of projects at the site.

Tasks to be carried out:

• Aid in supporting new projects including budget preparation, identifying specific requirements, creating troubleshooting guides, and orienting new Support Desk staff members

• Precisely log incident tickets with pertinent descriptions, classifications, and setbacks

• Act as the initial contact for escalating issues for field technicians based on-site

• Furnish technical help to Field Technicians to ensure successful project completion at the site

• Record important data relevant to the installation or technician, or as specified in project guidelines, including arrival/departure times, call issues, problem solving, followed escalation paths, follow-up conversations, status updates, scripts for checking out, and equipment validation

• Address hardware and software issues, and carry out hardware configurations when required

• Strive to solve problems that arise during the installation and assess how these issues could affect the scheduled work.

Requirements

• Competent in Hardware and Software utilization

• Background in Hardware Configuration

• Capable of resolving Hardware problems

• Proficient in Hardware Troubleshooting

• Past experience in a Help Desk Analyst role in the Retail industry

• Exceptional problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Capable of functioning well in a team setting

• Attentive to details with an emphasis on quality and precision

• Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Open and eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Able to work under stress and meet tight deadlines
