Responsibilities

JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dynamic RN who is passionate about the health and well-being of our employee to assess patient/family health problems and resources taking a leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. All RN’s are expected to practice autonomously consistent with professional standards Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.

The SWAT RN is a resource nurse for the facility with a focus on code stroke response. The primary responsibility is to respond to provide care and oversight for all inpatient and outpatient code stroke patients.

Expectations:

  • Responds to all hospital wide code strokes as the primary responder. Provides direct patient care as needed.

  • Participates as a team member on code response teams (code Blue, CRT, etc) throughout the facility.

  • Makes walk through rounds on all nursing units at least twice a shift to ascertain any department needs.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • 2 years of ICU or ER RN experience

  • ADN, Diploma or foreign equivalent

  • Current AZ State RN License

  • Current AHA ACLS certification

  • Current BLS certification

  • Maintain Critical Care and ED skills

Preferred:

  • 3 years of ICU experience

  • BSN

Pay Range

$42.85 - $63.77 /hour
