Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

This position entails analyzing and resolving production issues in collaboration with engineering and material procurement teams. The successful candidate will monitor process data, analyze trends, financial results, and customer feedback to ensure production, inspection, and quality system processes are optimized. Responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis, risk assessments, enhancing quality inspection techniques, and implementing process improvements.

The position is open because the company is transferring their entire Lakeland, FL manufacturing plant to Chandler, AZ and this Quality Engineer will support the transfer at the Chandler site.

Hard Skills

• B.S. in Engineering

• 2+ years as a Quality Engineer in a regulated-industry (e.g., medical device, pharma, aerospace, automotive) manufacturing environment, preferably medical device.

• Knowledge of Quality Systems, including ISO 13485 or its equivalent.

• Experience in a regulated-industry manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of Quality Systems

• Proficiency in data analysis, graphing, VBA, pivot tables, and queries

Soft Skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 18 Month(s) or longer. This is a full time W2 position with full benefits and weekly direct deposit pay.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.

Work Environment

The role is based in Arizona with a 1st shift schedule from 4:45 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The environment varies from office to production floor, and may include customer sites. Travel is minimal but may include short-term assignments or future travel up to 10%. The role may require physical activities such as standing or lifting and adherence to safety protocols.
