ManpowerGroup Penetration Test Engineer in Chandler, Arizona

Senior Penetration Tester (5+ Years Experience) -

(Leading Financial Institution) (AZ)

A leading financial institution is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Penetration Tester to join their growing security team in Arizona. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding the company's infrastructure and applications by conducting comprehensive penetration testing engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and execute penetration testing engagements against internal and external systems, applications, and infrastructure.

  • Identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities across various technologies (web applications, APIs, networks, mobile applications, etc.).

  • Develop and execute penetration testing scripts and tools to automate tasks and improve testing efficiency.

  • Analyze penetration testing results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies.

  • Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure timely and effective vulnerability remediation.

  • Stay up to date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing methodologies.

  • Prepare detailed penetration testing reports that document findings, risks, and recommendations.

  • May participate in red teaming exercises to simulate real-world attacker scenarios.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in penetration testing or a related security discipline.

  • Proven experience in conducting penetration testing engagements against web applications, APIs, networks, mobile applications, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Strong understanding of secure coding principles and common web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).

  • Experience with penetration testing methodologies (OSSTMM, PTES) and frameworks (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, etc.).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings, present results, and collaborate with stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Prior experience within the financial services industry a plus.

  • Possession of one or more industry recognized penetration testing certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSWP, GPEN) highly preferred.
