Job Title: Install Technician
Job Description
Responsible for assisting in the installation and support of Yarbrough Watlow Heating Solutions at Intel. The job entails installing heat trace material on process lines such as vacuum pipes, exhaust, and gas lines that connect to the tools in Fab 42. This includes tool installation for semiconductor equipment, running wire, troubleshooting basic electrical issues, handling equipment during the installation process, and insulation installation.
Responsibilities
Install heat trace material on various process lines.
Perform tool installation for semiconductor equipment.
Run wire and troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
Handle equipment during the installation process.
Install insulation to maintain proper functioning of the heating solution.
Inspect the application of additional tape to insulate and wire up the pipes.
Ensure the wrap keeps condensation off the lines to prevent particulate build-up.
Crawl into small spaces to perform installations and troubleshooting.
Assist in the startup and troubleshooting of installed products.
Essential Skills
1 year of technical-related experience or mechanical equipment assembly.
Electrical aptitude, including installation or troubleshooting experience with electrical components.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
OSHA 10 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in electrical, mechanical, construction, and maintenance tasks.
Hands-on experience with tools and troubleshooting.
Attention to detail.

Work Environment
The role involves working onsite at Intel in Chandler, with 30% of the time spent in the fab and 70% in the sub-fab. The schedule includes three shifts with two teams working 4-10 hour days from Monday to Thursday and Wednesday to Saturday, alternating monthly. The third team works Monday to Friday on an 8-hour shift. Overtime is mandatory for all teams. Team size typically consists of 2-3 people. The contract is expected to last 6-9 months before potential conversion to full-time employment.
