Job Title: Field Technician Team Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Technician Team Lead to join our team. As the leading provider of temporary liquid handling solutions, we specialize in pumps, tanks, filtration, and spill containment. Our projects range from flood relief to construction site dewatering, sewer bypasses, and industrial plant turnarounds. In this role, you will install, inspect, repair, and service piping and filtration systems at various job sites. You will meet at the shop in the morning, assist with loading/unloading materials and equipment, and travel with a crew to different commercial job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with training and leading a team while performing hands-on work.

  • Lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment for agricultural or industrial work sites.

  • Instruct and lead field technician employees on a day-to-day basis.

  • Positively represent the company and maintain good relations with coworkers and customers.

  • Train department personnel, providing day-to-day instruction and guidance on safe and quality workmanship.

  • Inspect finished jobs to ensure quality control standards are met.

  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material/equipment needs.

  • Select pipe sizes and types and related materials according to specifications.

  • Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment using appropriate tools and machinery.

  • Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.

  • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, and observation.

  • Use hand and power tools to modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, pumps, and related machines and equipment.

  • Complete department paperwork as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in craft or mechanical trade

  • Prior lead, foreman, or management experience

  • Experience with assembly and reading blueprints

  • OSHA10 certification

  • Valid driver's license

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools

  • General construction labor skills

  • Ability to use a tape measure accurately

Work Environment

You will meet at the shop in the morning and travel to various construction and industrial sites, working predominantly outdoors and in industrial environments. Job sites include commercial settings such as substations, power stations, and industrial plants. Some environments may be dirty, such as sewage bypasses. The coverage area spans from Marana to Flagstaff. You will not need to drive your own vehicle, and per diem is provided for out-of-town stays. Start times are between 4 am and 6 am, with no weekend work required. Expect mostly 40-hour work weeks, with occasional overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00
