Actalent Controls Technician in Champlin, Minnesota

Job Title: Controls TechnicianJob Description

As a Controls Technician, you will be part of our dynamic Industrial Controls team. Your responsibilities include providing on-site support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems and automation equipment at various sites across North America. You will be traveling up to 50% of the time, delivering top-notch systems and services to our clients. When you are not traveling, you will be troubleshooting equipment on-site and handling customer calls. There is a potential for a hybrid or work-from-home option in the future once you are settled in the role.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Champlin, Minnesota and some days remote.

Work Environment

This position is part of the Concrete Batching Group. You can expect to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites, with busier travel times occurring in Fall/Winter, including travel to US and Canada. When not travelling, you will be on-site troubleshooting equipment and fielding customer calls. A hybrid / work from home option may become available in the future once you are settled in the role.
