Responsibilities

  • Identifying and engaging with potential clients across various sectors in need of innovative technology solutions and consulting, particularly in the AI and data science sectors

  • Implementing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with high-level clients, including government agencies and corporate decision-makers

  • Negotiating contracts, closing deals and managing client accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and growth

  • Navigating complex procurement processes and leading contract negotiations with precision

  • Communicating effectively with high-level or challenging clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and partnerships

  • Collaborating with internal teams, including R&D and Product Development, to align offerings with customer requirements

  • Interacting with our executive leadership for strategic direction and to share insights \"from the field\"

  • Applying domain awareness or expertise to communicating with customers while developing strong proficiency in our technology stack

Qualifications

  • Background or interest in computer science, engineering, math, physics or a related technical or quantitative field is preferred

  • Sales experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to network

  • Analytical and presentation skills

  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required

Location: Champaign, Illinois, or remote
