Job Title: Restoration Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Restoration Technician to join our local restoration company.

This role involves assisting with job site clean-up and restoration, addressing damages caused by water, wind, and fire.

This position offers a competitive pay range based on experience, with opportunities for advancement and certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the clean-up and restoration of job sites affected by water, wind, and fire damage.

• Work with a crew of 2 to 3 individuals to demo properties.

• Perform tasks such as cutting walls, carrying equipment, drywall finishing, and water mitigation.

• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste materials.

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of experience in the construction field.

• Experience in restoration is highly preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in carpentry, drywall, flooring, and general construction labor.

• Ability to use hand tools, tape measures, and power tools.

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Work Environment

The work environment includes residential and commercial properties that have been severely damaged. You will work with a team of 2 to 3 individuals.

The job can be dirty, dusty, damp, and may require crawling into tight spaces.

The standard attire includes jeans, steel-toe boots, high-visibility shirts, hard hats, gloves, and eye protection.

Occasionally, a full hazmat suit and respirator may be required.

The working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with everyone expected to be at the shop by 7:45 AM.

The commute from the shop to the project site can take 30 minutes to an hour, and the position requires working 40+ hours a week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $44000.00/yr.

100% paid contractor benefits

They will be driving company vehicles

This is a fully onsite position in Chambersburg,PA.
