We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. As an Accounting Clerk, your key role will be to support the accounting operations, act as a backup for AP/AR tasks and provide administrative support throughout the office as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient and accurate processing of accounts receivable

• Manage and reconcile account details

• Execute billing operations and invoice processing

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and document management tasks

• Offer detail oriented customer service to municipal clients

• Show self-motivation by taking up additional tasks around the office with minimal direction

• Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Support accounts payable operations as needed.

Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiar with Billing processes and protocols

• Excellent Data Entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed

• Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring all transactions are completed within required timeframes

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets

• Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on providing responsive and efficient service to internal and external stakeholders.
